Meet the Board
Oliver is a Co founder of the ATD Foundation and has been the vision and energy behind its mission. He is also Founder & CEO of the successful e-commerce company Attraction Tickets Direct. Oliver has been progressively more involved in the support of charity projects across Zambia. With a heart-warming ambition for improving the quality of Zambian children’s lives through water, sanitation and football projects, he is channelling his passion to change lives.
Pete is CEO at Engine Media UK, a subsidiary of The Engine Group, the UK’s largest unlisted marketing, advertising and media services group. He leads a portfolio of media brands, including an adtech platform in the UK, Europe and Australasia, a media planning and buying business and a strategy consultancy. Concurrently he is also Chief Strategy Officer also at The Engine Group and is responsible for business management and strategy leadership. Prior to Engine, Pete founded a communications planning consultancy called EGS, which he sold to the Engine Group in 2009. Outside of work, Pete enjoys playing golf badly, running adequately and appreciating wine, extensively.
Since her first trip abroad at the age of 13, Sasha has had a passion for travel and exploring new and interesting destinations around the world. She has always worked in the travel industry and, before having children, loved her role as Product Manager for a U.S. travel company which enabled her to travel regularly throughout North America. Now a mother of three, she understands the challenges of raising little ones and, on visiting Zambia, has been particularly moved by the issues faced by the children, many of whom are orphans.
Joe qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG before a 17-year City career with a number of investment banks including Hoare Govett, Dresdner Kleinwort and Investec. During this time Joe advised a wide range of UK and International companies on equity and debt fundraising, mergers and acquisitions and corporate strategy; and advised on corporate transactions worth over £45 billion. He now is Head of Corporate Finance and Investor Relations at the listed Irish drinks company – C&C Group.
Jake is our Charity Manager who ensures the smooth running of the ATD Foundation. A background in Project Management and Logistics with various NGO’s around Africa, combined with a passion for sports, puts him in a good position to work closely with our project partners. He also helps coordinate our projects from the ground, and has assisted in the formation of the Livingstone Youth Football Academy (LYFA) in Zambia.
